Old rusty truck covered by snow

I saw and photographed this old rusty truck covered by snow in Glasgow Montana. It’s a nice Chevrolet quietly sleeping under the snow cover by the side of a road. I have to confess that couldn’t differentiate it from any other vehicles brands without seeing its shiny chrome sign. It was proudly showing up from under the slightly melting snow in that sunny winter day

I just liked the contrast between the heavy rusty metal and the fresh white snow, each with total different kind of texture πŸ™‚ It was quite a pretty truck, so I photographed it from several angles. I also uploaded it to my Fine Art America gallery of rusted trucks – yes, I have several πŸ™‚ If you like old trucks art prints as wall, home decor and gifts, just click on the images here. Many amazing options are available:

Here is another version of it, a little later in the evening:

The next photograph was from a shady side, with the snow looking blue out of the direct sunlight. I made it in a square format. sometimes, snow photography looks interesting in black and white. Therefore, I made a B&W version of the old truck as well. I really like to play with my photos πŸ™‚

Indeed, the quietly sleeping old rusty truck is one of those common things that people see but don’t really notice. I’m always open to finding them and I’m always looking for them πŸ™‚

If you like photos of snow, Montana is one of the best places to go, except Canada of course πŸ˜‰ I personally love taking photos of snow. I especially love to go on back-roads and to small towns or villages for them.

  1. Excellent, Tatiana. I love old trucks – and the more rust the better. Photographing that old Chevy covered in snow makes it so much the better. There are a couple of rusty jewels near our home and “now” you’ve got me wishing for snow.
